The dramatic qualifying heats

The qualifying time trials already foreshadowed the outstanding form of the female riders. Czech rider Adéla Pernická impressed in her first UCI World Cup appearance with the fastest time ahead of Marion Fromberger and UCI World Champion Mariia Sukhopalova. Pernická also impressed in the heats, which pointed to an exciting final.

Despite her strong performance in the heats, Pernická was unable to keep up with Fromberger in the final, who went full throttle from the start and secured victory.

Simon Gegenheimer impresses in the men's final

The men's final was also a real showdown. Dutch champion Jeroen van Eck and German rider Simon Gegenheimer went head-to-head in a thrilling race. However, the leader of the UCI World Cup, Klemenčič, came out on top in the final straight, preventing a possible double victory for Germany.

Nevertheless, Gegenheimer impressed with his performance and secured a strong second place behind Klemenčič.
